Please perform the below steps :

1) Stop and disable the “Windows Update” service in the Windows “Services” app

2) STOP the “Windows Update Medic Service”

Disable (in a CMD command windows with “Run as administrator” rights):

3) STOP the “Update Orchestrator Service” (UsoSvc)

Disable:

4) STOP the “Windows 10 Update Facilitation Service”

Disable:

When configuring your HelloDoor device, you need to assign it a SkypeForBusiness user. This is done in the settings.xml file in the tag.

You need to specify 3 fields :

• username
• windowsusername
• password

Depending on your SkypeForBusiness setup, ‘username’ and ‘windowsusername’ could be the same or may be different :

• in a SkypeForBusiness Online (Cloud) setup, both fields are the same and are typically of the form ‘user@company.com’
• in an on-premise SkypeForBusiness setup, the ‘windowsusername’ may be different from the ‘username’, and then takes the form ‘domain\user’. The easiest way to find out is by logging into Skype in the Skype client : you enter ‘username’ and password. If the application asks an additional ‘windowsusername’, you need a separate ‘username’ in settings.xml. If not, then ‘username’ and ‘windowsusername’ are the same.

As a test, login to Skype on a standard client and if this is succesful, then configure the settings.xml

After starting the application, it needs a few seconds to log into Skype.

You can check the succes/failure of the login proces in the logfile, found in C:\programData\logs

When you want a HelloPorta/HelloLisa videocall to go to multiple users simultaneously, with video, we recommend the following setup:

Create an extra “dummy” Teams user in your environment, with the Forwarding function active (Simultaneous ring to the “Call group”). Send the HelloPorta/HelloLisa calls to this “dummy” account. Wen a call comes in, all users in the “Call group” of this dummy account will be then called and the first user that answers will get the call with video. Also the dooropener-functionality will work for any user that answers the call.

To configure:

Create a new Teams account in your environment

Log in to Teams with the newly created account.

Go to “… Settings” at the top-right of your Teams Client and select “Calls”.

For the “Forward my calls” option to appear, the “dummy” Teams user needs to be licensed for telephony (Office 365).

Then you need to select “Forward my calls” and “Forward to: Call Group”. Add all group members that need to receive the call to this Call Group. Then log out of the Teams client.

On HelloDoor/HelloLisa, configure a button to call the above “dummy” account (see admin manual).

With this config, pushing the doorbell button will ring a group with a videocall. The first person that answers the call gets the videocall from the visitor that is standing in front of HelloDoor/HelloLisa device.

• Call from HelloLisa Virtual Reception to Teams User1. User1 can choose to accept the incoming call as a videocall (camera icon) or as a voicecall (phone icon). When a videocall was selected, both sides will see each other’s videostream.
• Call from HelloLisa Virtual Reception to Teams User1. User1 has a forward (or a SimRing) to a “Call group” containing Teams User2. User2 can only accept the call as a voicecall (phone icon) but when accepted the videostream of the visitor in front of HelloLisa device will be shown anyway (one-way video). User2 can press the Video-icon in the Teams client If he wants to send his own video to HelloLisa (and so show his videostream to the Visitor): then both sides will see each other’s videostream.
• Call from HelloLisa Virtual Reception to a Teams CallQueue containing User2. can only accept the call as a voicecall (phone icon). Enabling video in the Teams client does not show video on HelloLisa and also not on User2 side.

HelloDoor can control an IP-relay, and this relay can open a door, gate, or control about any device which can be activated from a simple switch.

For this to work, the whole setup of the HelloDoor, IP relay and networking needs to work. Rather than setting everything up and keep your fingers crossed, here is a step by step procedure to do a clean installation, or to troubleshoot one that’s not working :

• Work backwards from the door, gate, etc which needs to be controlled. If you connect the wires from the Normal Open (NO) external control signals, does the door open ?
• Next, check the relay itself : is it properly powered ?
• Is the relay properly configured ? If so you should be able to reach its configuration page from a web browser
• Next check that the relay can be controlled from the browser : you should hear it switching. If you connect the relay contacts (typically C and NO), you should be able to control the door or gate from the web browser.
• Finally, we are going to check control from HelloDoor, instead of the browser. Check that the setup for the IP relay is correct in settings.xml. The IP address, username and password should match with your tests from the browser.
• Ring the doorbell, answer the call and in the chat-window, type one of the possible commands to open the door.
